Course bookings, Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking a course with RGL Safety & Resilience. By booking a course, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

1. Course Booking and Payment:

 a. To secure your place on a course, full payment must be made at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated.

 b. Payment should be made via bank transfer or via our online portal.

 c. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if full payment is not received prior to the course start date.

2. Course Attendance and Certification:

 a. Attendance is mandatory for the entire duration of the course.

 b. Individual learners: If you are unable to attend, please notify us at least 14 days in advance.

 c. Failure to attend without prior notification may result in forfeiture of your course fees. Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances at our discretion.

 d. To receive a course certificate, you must fulfil the attendance requirements and successfully complete all required assessments, as determined by the course instructor and or Qualsafe Awards.

 e. Certificates will be issued within a reasonable timeframe upon successful completion of the course. We are not responsible for any delays in certificate issuance beyond our control.

3. Course Changes and Cancellations:

 a. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrolment. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative course date or a full refund of your course fees.

 b. If you wish to transfer to a different course date, you must notify us at least 14 days before the original course start date. Course transfers are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

 c. Course cancellations by learners must be made in writing via email to [email protected] and are subject to the following refund policy:

 d. Cancellation 14 or more days before the course start date: 50% charge of the course fees.

 e. Cancellation less than 14 days before the course start date: Full course fee.

 f. Courses at site: If you wish to change the date or cancel you must notify us at least 36 calendar days before the first day of the training day, otherwise payment will be expected in full. Over 36 calendar days, an administration charge of £50.00 maybe be applied.

4. Liability and Indemnity:

 a. Participation in our courses is at your own risk. We shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property that may occur during the course or because of your participation.

 b .You agree to indemnify and hold RGL Safety & Resilience and its employees, instructors, and agents harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your participation in the course.

5. Intellectual Property:

 a. All course materials and content provided during the course are the intellectual property of RGL Safety and Resilience, or Qualsafe Awards. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or use any course materials for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

 a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

7. Modifications to Terms and Conditions:
 a. We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised terms and conditions on our website. By continuing to book courses with us, you accept the modified terms and conditions.
